What is a Sludge Dewatering Press?
In simple terms, a Dewatering Press separates liquids from solids. It is a device that normally moves slowly, dewatering sludge through a gravitational process. However, Environmental Wastewater Solutions (EWwS) Ltd offer a highly advanced hydraulic press using an innovative patented filtration system to separate the liquid from the solid material.
EWwS Sludge Dewatering Press is an innovative solution to significantly reduce the requirement for tankering and the costs of sludge disposal, leaving the user with a dewatered cake that can be efficiently disposed of and in some instances, used as a biomass fuel subject to government regulations. Unlike alternative, less efficient options within the marketplace, the EWwS Sludge Dewatering Press does not require the use of harmful chemicals. The EWwS system uses a low-cost natural organic additive with no harmful substances and therefore has little or no environmental impact when disposing of the dewatered sludge cake.
